One of my favorite places in Denver, I always try to stop by when I'm in town. The location is great, annoyance is great, food is always on point, drinks are great. All around this place just doesn't miss. Always consistent and I always leave happy
Everything was fantastic! Sat at the bar and had delicious cocktails paired with the bolognese. Kapena, Rob, Veronica and Allison are great bartenders who never fail to make the experience welcoming. Will be back a million times over :)
On a recent trip to Denver I just knew I had to try this restaurant! The reviews looked good and the food looked amazing! We arrived late on a Friday night and there were still plenty of diners in the restaurant enjoying the evening. The restaurant has dim lighting and lots of seating, I loved the ambiance! James was our server and he was patient and able to answer any questions we had. To start we ended up ordering the crispy bread with garlic oil and balsamic and the marinated olives. Both were an amazing choice, the bread was perfection and I could've eaten a plate of bread and been full and fine! The olives were marinated in an oil with different herbs, and were not pitted. The flavor profile was wonderful. For my main course I ordered the Cacio E Pepe with broccoli instead of chicken and I was not disappointed. The pasta was cooked well, the sauce was flavorful and the broccoli added just what I needed! This restaurant will definitely stay on my Denver list!
Let's start off with saying that I think it's so cool to see the chefs cooking and going through the motions that you see on TV haha... I will say that we started off with some drinks that were actually pretty good ... Had a campfire which reminded me of a whiskey sour The fish and chips were really good. The fish was nice and crispy and not too greasy , the Cole slaw was WOW... now I feel like I the end of the basket fries "chips" which was the downer about the plate The pork bowl was yummy , but a one time thing . Topped it off with an espresso martini, which was amazing ... I will say the location was perfect and I love the chic-ness of the place , the art decor on the walls were awesome and our waitress was spectacular, always making sure if we were ok ... Coming back for sure !!
I love the atmosphere here, so many great areas to sit in including a large bar area, booths tables and a huge patio that is great in the summer or early fall. I've come here with family and always had great service, recently I came to meet a client and they now are a huge fan as well. My food is always delicious and the stuff is so efficient. It's noticeably impressive. This place does get awfully crowded and parking can be difficult if you come during a brunch session over the weekend. I recommend going about a block away and there's lots of street parking. If you're coming in a group, try to carpool. It's worth navigating and there's plenty to walk around and see you when you finish breakfast.
Came here with some friends and enjoyed the food and vibes here! The interior has great high ceilings with interesting interior design as well as an open patio concept. The palette of the food here is interesting - but I would say that it does portray the Colorado food scene pretty nicely. This place would be a nice place to go out with some friends or take someone from out of town! Staff are very friendly!
We love Culinary Dropout! We stopped here for lunch in Denver before heading up to Steamboat. We visited during lunchtime on a Friday afternoon and it was pretty empty (though it is a very large space) so we were able to grab a table easily. We've dined at Culinary Dropout in Arizona, so we have a few menu items we love, including the pretzel bites - so good! And I love that they are served with a candle under the cheese so it stays warm. I went with the crispy shrimp caesar salad. This was so good, and the perfect size for lunch. I left feeling perfectly full. Our server was wonderful - I didn't catch his name but he was so friendly and checked in on us frequently. Another great experience at Culinary Dropout!
